Search changed.

Being online isn't enough anymore.
Visibility now depends on structure.
Nine in ten dental practices have the same three gaps.

01
AI can't find you.

Not indexed. Not connected. Not crawlable. The site exists in a browser, not in any AI model's understanding of the web. This is the floor everything else rests on, and it's almost always missing.

02
AI doesn't understand you.

Even indexed sites get ignored when there's no structured identity. No specialty signal. No location clarity. No practitioner authority. The practice is noise, indistinguishable from any other domain in the same zip code.

03
AI won't cite you.

AI recommends practices that answer patient questions. Most practices have procedure lists. A list is not an answer. Without structured content per service, you don't get cited, even when everything else is right.

About

Why this exists.

I know what it's like to be the practice nobody finds.

I'm a practicing DDS and the person who built Signal, engine included.

For a long time, the playbook was simple: run Google Ads, boost a few Facebook and Instagram posts, get new patients. It worked. Then the pandemic hit, and the chain clinics opened the budget floodgates. One-chair practices got buried. You couldn't outspend them, and most of us stopped trying.

What changed was the algorithm. Google shifted its algorithm to reward relevance and structure over raw spend. AI assistants started surfacing answers from well-structured local content instead of serving up whoever paid the most.

Good dentistry deserves to be found. That's why Signal exists.

Suddenly, a solo practice with a properly built site could appear ahead of a clinic with a six-figure ad budget; not because the rules got fairer, but because the rules changed, and most practices don't know it yet.

That's the gap Signal was built to close.

Every score, every flag, every finding comes from a deterministic engine: no black box. What you see is exactly what was found. Most visibility work is done by people who've never been in a clinical setting. I have. That changes what I look for, what I fix, and how these pages are written.

Things practices ask before they decide

Your AI visibility score (0–100) measures how well AI tools can find, identify, and cite your practice. It looks at seven things: whether AI can identify who you are and what you do, whether your content answers patient questions, whether your site is technically reachable, whether you appear trustworthy as a medical provider, how much of a risk AI systems associate with health content, how widely you're referenced across the web, and how stable your site is.
Traditional SEO earns you a spot in a list of links. AI citation work makes your practice the answer: no list, no clicking, just your name as the recommendation. The way patients are searching is shifting: more of them are asking ChatGPT or Google AI directly and acting on whatever it tells them. If your practice isn't readable to those systems, you don't exist in that channel. Both matter, but they work differently and require different fixes.
Our framework is designed to improve citation behavior across all major AI platforms: Perplexity AI, ChatGPT (including Browse mode), Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Meta AI. Each platform weighs entity signals slightly differently, but the structured data and authority foundation we build improves performance across all of them simultaneously, including future platforms built on the same underlying data sources.
Yes, and independent practices often have an advantage here. Large groups have dozens of locations with inconsistent information spread across the web, generic content with no clinical depth, and no named practitioner authority. A single well-configured independent practice, with a clear identity, a credentialed doctor attached to it, and content that actually answers patient questions, will outperform them in local AI recommendations. Size doesn't win this. Clarity does.
It's the structure that helps systems like Google and AI tools understand where you are, what you offer, and when you're available. Without it, even a good practice may not be considered in recommendations.
If you already have a website, even a basic one, start with the Visibility Fix. The scan will show exactly what's blocking you, and in most cases that's enough to start showing up. The Full Build is for practices that don't have a site yet, or where the current one is too thin or broken to be worth fixing. If you're unsure, reach out. I'll tell you which one applies before you commit to anything.
One-time. There are no, no monthly fees, no subscriptions. Ongoing costs are limited to your own domain and hosting.
Yes. All work touches public-facing website content only. No patient records, no booking system access, no protected health information processed at any stage. Every deliverable involves exclusively public data.
